Refund policy

We want you to feel confident ordering from The Infused Tallow Co. If something arrives damaged, incorrect, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate next step.


Return eligibility
We accept returns of eligible unopened items within 14 days after delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and, where applicable, with the tamper-evident seal intact. You’ll also need your order number, receipt, or other proof of purchase.

Because our products are personal care and skincare products, opened, used, or unsealed items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

To start a return, contact us at service@infusedtallow.com before sending anything back. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.


Return shipping
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error, a verified damaged item, or an incorrect item being sent.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order qualified for free shipping and a return causes the order to no longer meet the free-shipping threshold, we reserve the right to deduct the actual outbound shipping cost from your refund where permitted by law.


Opened or used products
For hygiene and safety reasons, opened, used, or unsealed skincare products are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for personal preference, including scent, texture, product feel, ingredient preference, or a product not being the right fit for your skin or routine.


Damaged, incorrect, or unusable items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item arrives broken, incorrect, missing, with a compromised tamper-evident seal, or otherwise unusable, contact us at service@infusedtallow.com within 7 days of delivery.

Please include your order number and clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping box. We will review the information provided and determine whether the item qualifies for a replacement, refund, or store credit.


Temperature, softening, and minor oil residue
Our products are tallow-based balms and creams made with oils, waxes, and botanical ingredients. Temperature changes during shipping or storage may affect their texture. Products may soften or melt in warm conditions and may arrive firmer than usual in cold conditions. This is a natural characteristic of tallow-based products and does not necessarily mean the product is defective.

Minor softening, firmness, texture changes, or a small amount of oil residue on the outside of the jar or protective packaging is not considered damage and is not eligible for refund or replacement.

If your product arrives with significant leakage, saturated packaging, broken glass, a compromised tamper-evident seal, or product loss that makes it unusable, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos so we can review the issue.


Skin sensitivity, allergies, and ingredient review
Individual skin reactions can vary. Before purchasing or using any product, please review the full ingredient list on the product page and packaging. Do not use a product if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to any listed ingredient, including tallow, plant oils, herbs, botanicals, essential oils, or other natural ingredients.

We recommend patch testing before full use, especially if you have sensitive skin, known allergies, a medical skin condition, are pregnant or nursing, are purchasing for a child, or are using prescription or medicated topical products.

If discomfort, irritation, or sensitivity occurs, discontinue use. If you experience a serious reaction or have concerns about an allergy, ingredient, herb, botanical, or skin condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

For product safety concerns or adverse events, please contact us at service@infusedtallow.com and include the product name, lot or batch code (printed on the label, where available), date of purchase, the date and manner of use, symptoms, whether medical care was sought, the outcome, and photos if available, so we can review and document it. Seek immediate medical care for severe symptoms.

Our products are for external cosmetic use only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.


Final sale items
Gift cards, clearance items, discontinued items, custom items, limited-edition items marked as final sale, opened products, used products, and unsealed personal care products are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.

Standard promotional discounts, such as a welcome discount or sitewide percentage-off promotion, do not automatically make an unopened item final sale unless the product page, cart, checkout, or promotion terms specifically state that the item is final sale.


Refunds
We will notify you once we receive and inspect your approved return. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund.
